成功离你并不远
亲爱的思源高中全体同学们：
大家好！
首先，在国庆节来临之际，预祝同学们度过一个欢乐的假期，国庆节快乐！
夏天的繁茂还在延续，秋天的丰硕即将到来，选择这个沃野飘香的季节，我想和同学们聊一聊成功的话题。
从古至今，有多少人的梦想因自己的一时失误或冲动而付诸东流，又有多少人的志向在逆境中消失了。成功是并不是永恒的，而失败也并不是意味着永远失败，成功和失败，没有绝对界限。对于一个想达成目标的人，只要你能发挥自己最大的潜能便是成功。对于我们高一新生，三年的高中生活如白驹过隙，转瞬即逝，三年后你将走出高中校园，奔赴新的征程，谱写新的人生篇章。那时，你尽自己全力考上了理想的大学，实现了三年的梦想便是成功。同学们，这个世界不是有钱人的世界，也不是有权人的世界，是有心人的世界。只要是有心人，坚持做到如下几点，你离成功并不远。
一、成功的第一要素：信心
首先，要对自己有信心。人在旅途，只要相信自己，才能依靠自己，奋发图强。
有一个人从小双目失明，懂事后他深深地烦恼，认定这是老天在责罚他，感到一辈子完了，从此失去了生活的信心。后来，一位长者对他说：“世上每个人都是被上帝咬过的一口苹果，都是有缺陷的。有的缺陷比较大，是因为上帝特别喜爱他的芬芳。”盲人听后很受鼓舞，他把失明看作是上帝的特殊钟爱，开始振作起来。若干年后，他成为一个德艺双馨的盲人推拿师。
信心产生动力，动力产生行动，行动产生效果，效果积累为成绩，成绩积累为目标。所以，一个人自强必先自信。
二、成功的第二要素：兴趣
除了信心，还要建立对学习的兴趣。兴趣才是最好的老师，因为兴趣总是伴随着良好的情感体验，因而一旦我们对学习产生了浓厚的兴趣，我们的成绩和能力便会迅速提高。
唐代高僧怀素自幼家贫，念不起书，父母就送他到一座寺庙当和尚。刚开始时，他以练字消磨时光，渐渐地对书法产生了浓厚的兴趣，若一天不练字，就怅然若失，浑身不舒服。但是，他哪里有钱去买纸？听人家说，芭蕉叶子上可以写字，而且写的字可以抹掉，他高兴极了，几年间他就种了数百株芭蕉。他用毛笔在大叶子上认真书写，练习笔力、腕力，使其旋转自如。日日写，月月练，芭蕉叶子用完了，就做了一个漆盘和一个漆板，在上面一练就是几个时辰，有时连饭也忘了吃。为了让字体飞动而不轻浮，苍劲而又不显干枯，他便仔细揣摩前辈书法家的碑帖，反复练习。当对一个字有所领悟时，就高兴得跳起来大喊大叫。天长日久，漆盘和漆板全都磨穿了，用秃的笔头也有成千上万。据说，唐代的毛笔头可以更换，他就把换下来的笔头埋在屋外的一个土坑里，久而久之，土坑逐渐填平增高，竟成了一个高高的土堆，叫“笔冢”。
怀素之所以成功，兴趣是他最好的老师。怀素若离开对书法的兴趣，就不会有“埋笔成冢”、“盘板皆穿”的永恒追求，更不会有流传千古的杰出成就。同样，在学习中，一个学生，要在学业上取得成绩，有所造就，首先就要培养自己的学习兴趣，只有跟着兴趣走，才能挖掘我们生命中的潜能，在学业上创造出一片亮
丽的风景来。
还有这样一个故事：2001年5月，美国内华达州的麦迪逊中学在入学考试时出了这么一道题目：比尔盖茨的办公桌上有5个带锁的抽屉，分别贴着财富、兴趣、幸福、荣誉、成功等5个标签，盖茨总是只带一把钥匙，而把其他4把锁在抽屉里。请问盖茨带的是哪一把钥匙？其他4把锁在哪一个或哪几个抽屉里?
一位刚移民美国的大陆学生，恰巧赶上这场考试，看到这道题目后，一下谎了手脚，因为他不知道这到底是一道语文题还是一道数学题。其实，这是一道智能测试题，内容不在书本上，也没有标准答案，每个人都可以根据自己的理解自由地回答。我们的学生总是有标准答案的。雪化了以后可以是水，也可以是春天。3+2可以等于5，也可以大于4或小于6，为什么一定要有标准答案呢？据说比尔盖茨对此题的答案是：在你感兴趣的事物上，隐藏着你人生的秘密。这个答案多好！
三、成功的第三个要素：方法
一个人有要想在学业上获得成功，不仅要对自己有自信，培养学习兴趣，更重要的是要注意学习方法。确定好学习的目标后，学习方法就决定了效果。方法正确，事半功倍，方法错误，则事倍功半。
《伊索寓言》中有一个小故事：在一个风雨交加的夜晚，有一个穷人到富人家讨饭。
“滚开！”富人家的仆人吼道，“不要来打搅我们。”
穷人说：“只要让我进去，在你们火炉上烤干衣服就行了。”仆人以为这不需要花费什么，就让他进去了。
这个可怜人，这是请求厨娘给他一个小锅，以便他“煮点石头汤喝”。“石头汤？”厨娘说，“我倒想看看你怎样能用石头做成汤”。于是她就答应了。穷人于是到路上捡了块石头洗净后放在锅里煮。
“可是，你总得放点盐吧”。厨娘说，给了他一些盐，后来又给了他豌豆、薄荷、香菜。最后，又把能够收拾到的碎肉末都放在汤里。
当然，你也许能猜到，这个可怜人后来将石头捞出来扔回路上，美美地喝了一锅肉汤。
如果这个穷人开头对仆人说：“行行好吧，请给我一锅肉汤。”那他还能享受到喝肉汤的快乐吗？因此，伊索在故事的结尾总结道：“坚持下去，方法正确，你就能成功。”
人们常把方法比喻成过河的桥和船，说明方法在完成任务中的重要作用。方法类文章分为两类：一类是属于通用的，这些往往对大家都是受用，对不同的学习内容也都能起作用。诸如“上课专心听讲，下课及时复习”、“先深入理解内容，后认真演算练习”、等等。这些都是经过许多人的实践证实了的，对绝大多数人都是有效的。另一类属于特殊性，有的人采用的一些方法对其他人效果并不一定好，如海明威站着写作效果好，有的人“开夜车”效果好。这类方法只能参考、试用，对自己确有实效的可以采用，不要盲目搬用。但是它给人的启发式可贵的，那就是每个人都可以在实践中，根据自己的情况和特点摸索适合自己的高效学习方法。我们有很多同学，成绩不好不是因为他们笨，往往是因为方法不对头导致的。所以，我们要常常反省我们的学习方法。

所以说，在成功的道路上要有敏锐的目光、果断的行动和坚持的毅力。用你敏锐的目光去发现机遇，用你果断的行动去抓住机遇，最后还要用你坚持的毅力才能把机遇变成真正的成功。
巴尔扎克的父亲曾对他说：“你知道吗？在文学领域中，一个人如果不是国王，就一定是乞丐。”巴尔扎克回答说：“那好，我要做国王。”他的父母把他留在了阁楼上，让他自己去支配自己的命运。经历了整整10年苦难的岁月，他战胜了贫困，最终取得了成功。然而，在巴尔扎克真正出名、成为文学大家之前，他真正坚持写了40本毫无影响的小说。
