与魁北克省投资移民类似，魁省也有独立遴选本省技术移民的权利和标准。由于魁省与加拿大联邦政府在遴选移民的指导思想上有差异，导致标准不同。这种差异为申请人带来了更多的选择机会，一些不符合加拿大联邦遴选条件的申请人，有可能通过魁北克省遴选标准，成功移民加拿大。

1.魁北克省技术移民的评审要素

*学历。学历较高者对申请相对有利，如果有第二专业，特别是有魁省紧缺的专业和技能，通过率更高。最低学历要求是高中或中专毕业。

*工作经历。近5年拥有的相关工作经历为有效的工作经历。相关工作经历是指所从事的工作岗位的专业技术含量要达到加拿大职业分类表中的D级以上的标准。
