What are pets? Just the domesticated animals we keep in our home and take care of? Orperhaps more than this? 1如果白天上班或有小孩的家庭，最好不要养宠物，以免造成伤害。
2常常带狗遛弯的居民，最好带一个袋子把狗狗拉下的粪便装进袋子里，以免危害环境。

建议一：先了解你准备养的宠物特点，例如一只小狗，你就要了解它所吃的食物，有没有体味，会不会掉毛，活动量大不大，需不需要人陪等等，只有喜欢不能坚持到底。因为你的宠物还有很多需求和毛病。这些需求和毛病你能不能接受！
建议二：家人是否同意养，如果是单独让宠物一个在家，那么你上班的时候它会很孤独的。如果你是跟家人一起生活，比如家里有老人，还有你的老婆/老公喜不喜欢你的宠物，家里有没有孩子，宠物跟孩子之间有没有影响？所以都要问问你的家人是否都同意养宠物，宠物是家里的一份子，它来到你的家庭能得到家里所有人喜欢是再好不过的了。如果有人不喜欢，对家人和宠物都不好。
建议三：有没有时间养宠物，宠物需要时间去照顾，宠物要喂食，要方便，要有人陪，如果是小狗，还需要出去遛狗，这些都需要花时间。一个整天上班的人，经常出差没时间在家，是没有时间做这些事情的。宠物跟着你就只能独守空房了。没有人给处理宠物大便、小便，家里会搞得异味难闻。
建议四：有没有财力养，养宠物需要花钱，例如宠物的食物和用具都要花钱买，还有宠物都会生病，现在宠物看病有些情况下比人看病还要贵。如果连自己都照顾不好，那么宠物肯定照顾不好，宠物花钱如果你承受不起，那么它要受罪了。
建议五：有没有地方养，宠物也需要场地，可能比人的活动场地还要大，家里养个小狗或者小猫，如果场地较小，宠物活动不过来，会影响你的生活。地方小，跟小狗小猫睡一个地方，你能办到吗？你可以有朋友、同事和家人，但是你的宠物就你一个，你是它的全部，养宠物之前要考虑好，不能一时冲动。对你自己负责，也是对你的宠物负责。
